Dave shaved his beard. It's like I'm kissing a stranger. Which is a little scary and exciting all at the same time. I can't stop staring at him because he looks so different. His co-workers jokingly asked if he were Dave's little brother. I liked the beard, but I must say--this is pretty hot.

Michelle sent me a text a couple weeks ago that said, "Do you remember a Sister Han who was your companion on your mission?"
"Yes. Of course. Why?"
"I just met her on campus. She recognized me from family pictures you had in Korea."

Can you believe it? Sister Han is here in Provo and she recognized Michelle. That's crazy! She's studying English at UVU for about 8 months and then she'll go home and finish her Master of Education degree in Seoul.

So we got dinner at the Bombay House on Saturday. It was so good to see her! Kyung-Ah is very cool.

P.S. in case you're wondering. You have to make a peace sign in pictures when in Korea or with a Korean. It's a must.

...last day Grand Canyon day 6

* ended float at Whitmore helipad

* rode in heli to Bar 10 Ranch on the rim

* flight canceled back to Marble Canyon because of weather

* drove out muddy road in Rangers and a van

* summited a snowy pass on our way to Marble Canyon

* made it home at 3:30 AM

* river bag falls in river while loading boats and floats downstream

* Lynnell's sunglasses fall in river and Marcel dives in Baywatch style after them

* hike and swim at Havasu

* love the blooming cacti, Agave, and Ocotillo 

* 2 j-rigs in front of us lose passengers at Lava

* treated to shrimp hors d'oevres and steak for dinner

* guides dress up in tux dinner attire for the evening and serenade us with violin music

* caught a glimpse of the elf at Elves Chasm

* got a family photo of all the Sorensens on the trip

* had a concert in Blacktail Canyon

* hiked around Deer Creek Falls

* stopped at Phantom Ranch

* loved the waves in Hermit Rapid

* made it through Crystal Rapid

* dressed up for dinner
